Claims Summary
1. A method of growing a network and distributing data using the network, the network including one or more production nodes that send data, and a plurality of consumer nodes, wherein each consumer node receives data from one or more production nodes or at least one other consumer node, comprising:
(a) providing first software that resides on each of the consumer nodes, wherein the first software on each given consumer node:
(i) issues requests for data only to a production node or another consumer node that is directly connected to the given consumer node without any intermediate node logically positioned therebetween;
