Abstract: A new geranium cultivar distinguished by its brilliant cyclamate purple coloring which does not fade under high temperature and high light intensity. This plant blooms continuously from spring to fall, maintaining its color and health permanently. The florets are of medium size and the flowers are well filled with approximately twelve florets in each cluster.
Claim: I claim:

1. The new and distinctive geranium variety, substantially as herein shown and described, characterized by its cyclamate purple flower clusters, which are borne continuously andprofusely from early spring to late fall.
Description: BACKGROUND

This new variety of geranium plant originated in 1987 as a sport of the geranium variety "Rigi" in my nursery in Stuttgart, West Germany. The unusual dark color, its growth characteristics and the abundance of flowers caused it to be selectedfor propagation which was done by me by means of cuttings. Reproduction of successive generations of this plant have shown that its novel and distinguishing characteristics are fixed and hold true from generation to generation.

DESCRIPTION OFTHE DRAWING

The new variety of geranium plant is illustrated by the accompanying full color photographic drawing, which shows the red purple coloring and the growth characteristics as true as it is reasonably possible to obtain by conventional photographicprocedures.
