Abstract: A hybrid tea rose variety having large high centered red flowers, good yield of long stemmed greenhouse cut roses (160 stems/m.sup.2), disease resistant foilage, and five (5) to seven (7) leaflet leaves.
Claim: I claim:

1. A new and distinct variety of rose plant of the hybrid tea class, substantially as herein shown and described, characterized particularly as to novelty by its strong disesaseresistant foliage, long stems, high yield of cut stems, large bright red flowers and five (5) to seven (7) leaflet leaves.
Description: This present invention relates to a new and distinct variety of roseplant named Korxenna of the hybrid tea class which was originated by me by crossing the variety Allegro with the variety Dallas.

The primary objective of this breeding was to produce a new rose variety having bright red hybrid tea flowers, long stems, high yield for greenhouse cut flower production, disease resistant foliage and good vase life. The objective wassubstantially achieved long with other desirable improvements as evidenced by the following unique combination of characteristics which are outstanding in the new variety and which distinguish it from its parents as well as from all other varieties ofwhich I am aware:

1. Large high centered red flowers.

2. Good yield of long stemmed greenhouse cut roses (160 stems/m.sup.2).

3. Disease resistant foliage.

4. Five (5) to seven (7) leaflet leaves.

Asexual reproduction of this new variety by budding, as performed at Wasco, Calif., shows that the foregoing characteristics and distinctions come true to form and are established and transmitted through succeeding propagations.

Theaccompanying illustration shows typical specimens of the vegetative growth and flowers of this new variety in different stages of development, depicted in color as nearly true as it is reasonably possible to make the same in a color illustration of thischaracter.

The following is a detailed description of my new rose cultivar with color in terminology in accordance with The Royal Horticultural Society Colour Chart except where ordinary dictionary significance of color is indicated.
