Abstract: A vigorous, upright, well-branched rose plant of the hybrid tea class, with heavy, straight stems, having a unique clear color of Wilson's French Rose, with very little fragrance.
Claim: I claim:

1. A new and distinct cultivar of rose of the hybrid tea class, substantially as herein shown and described, characterized particularly as to novelty by the unique combination of itsuniform color of French Rose from bud to well-developed open flower; its vigorous plant, straight and relatively heavy stems.
Description: The present invention relates to a new and distinct cultivar ofrose plant of the hybrid tea class which was originated by me by crossing the cultivars (Michele Meilland .times. Carla) .times. (Dr. Schweitzer .times. Super Star) with pollen of the cultivars (Queen Elizabeth .times. Provence).

The primary objective of this breeding was to produce a cultivar of the hybrid tea class, with a light clear pink flower color, suitable primarily for use in a greenhouse for the production of cut blooms. This objective was substantiallyachieved along with other desirable improvements as evidenced by the following unique combination of characteristics which are outstanding in this new cultivar and which distinguish it from its parents as well as from all other cultivars of which I amaware:

1. A vigorous, upright, well-branched plant of the hybrid tea class.

2. Heavy, straight stems.

3. A distinctive, unique, clear color of Wilson's French Rose, which changes very little from bud to a flower four days old.

4. Very little fragrance.

Asexual reproduction of this new cultivar by budding as performed at Evry, France and at Wasco, Calif., shows that the foregoing characteristics and distinctions come true to form and are established and transmitted through succeedingpropagations.

The accompanying illustration shows typical specimens of the vegetative growth and flowers of this new cultivar in different stages of development, depicted in color as nearly true as it is reasonably possible to make the same in acolor illustration of this character.

The following is a detailed description of my new rose cultivar with color in terminology in accordance with Wilson's Horticultural Color Chart except where ordinary dictionary significance of color isindicated.
