Simplified metallic structures and procedure for their production

Image Number 3 for United States Patent #4709642.

Simplified metallic structures, in particular shelving, consisting of shelves and uprights, made of relatively thin sheet metal and complete with projections and of fixing members consisting of plastic angular components arranged in the space defined between the uprights and the shelves and with cavities where the projections of the shelves and the uprights are inserted. The uprights may have the same shape and dimensions of the shelves, or may have smaller dimensions and have a transverse section corresponding to that of the cavity. A hole is made in the angular components where the fixing and anchoring tie-rods are inserted.
