Description: Amusement device wherein the illusionary effect created by the device involves (a) altering the external hue of an article, (b) altering the indicia located on the surface of an article so that the new indicia convey different information (e.g., a strip of newspaper having newsprint thereon is transformed into paper monetary currency), (c) altering the structural appearance of the surface (other than hue, shape, or form) of an article, or (d) altering the structural stiffness of an article; whereby the means by which the device alters the article is not apparent to a person observing the transformation.
