Description: Dispensers having means to terminate material discharge (i.e., cut-off), which means is caused to operate by some character of interconnection with mechanism which senses or determines volume or rate of flow, which mechanism is designed to be preset, (i.e., set at the desired volume or rate of flow) prior to initiation of the dispensing operation or at any time during the dispensing to discharge the final unit of a desired volume. The mechanism may be a volume meter, rate of flow meter, float, follower, pump, etc.
